Expanded Showcase for Central Virginia Entrepreneurs
Limited Spots Available – Applications Due May 4, 2015
The Charlottesville Business Innovation Council (CBIC) is expanding its popular "Innovators' Row" at the annual CBIC Awards Gala to be held on Thursday, May 21. In keeping with the theme, "A Night of Inspiration," this year's event honors Central Virginia entrepreneurs, educators, and organizations that contribution significantly to the region's innovation ecosystem.
Expanded this year, as many as 24 area entrepreneurs and companies will have a chance to showcase their products and innovations at CBIC's Innovators' Row.
Each participant selected for Innovators Row will be provided table space during the gala's pre-ceremony reception with opportunities to discuss their innovations with the assembled investors, entrepreneurs, educators, and business and civic leaders. About 300 technology and innovation movers & shakers are expected to attend the CBIC Awards Gala. This year's Gala will be in a bigger venue— the Boar's Head Inn— and features several new award categories.
Applications to be considered for participation in CBIC's Innovators Row are due by midnight Monday, May 4, 2015. There is no cost to apply; however, selected participants will pay $50 for exhibit space on Innovators Row and will need to purchase a gala ticket for each person who participates from their company. Selected companies will be notified on May 7, 2015 and promoted via CBIC's social media channels.

"Central Virginia innovators are creating jobs, and revolutionizing entire industries while generating prosperity for area families, schools, and organizations. It's wonderful that we come together once a year to recognize their contributions to our communities."
Tickets for the 2015 CBIC Awards Gala are still available online from the Charlottesville Business Innovation Council; however, this event sells out annually, so get your tickets before they disappear.
