The Commonwealth STEM industry Internship Program (CSIIP) is a no-fee online system that enables Virginia companies to access, select and hire spring, summer, and fall interns from a large pool of pre-qualified college and university STEM students throughout Virginia. Funded by the Commonwealth of Virginia, CSIIP is managed by the Virginia Space Grant Consortium, and is partners with ACEC, CCAM, IALR, NCI, SVHEC, the ten Virginia Technology Councils, Virginia Bio, Virginia SHRM, the Virginia Chamber, and the Virginia Manufacturing Association. The CSIIP is a year-round program, spring, summer, and fall. Student applications and company registrations are always welcomed.

Student applicants must:
- Be a Virginia student or a Virginia resident attending an accredited college or university outside of Virginia.
- Have a 2.7/4.0 GPA
- Be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Be pursuing a STEM Major (health and business majors are not our target; Majors such as Finance and Accounting are acceptable).
- Part-time is acceptable (minimum 6 hours)
