Charlottesville and its surrounding counties contain many businesses and opportunities, from the seemingly endless music, dining, shopping, and outdoor offerings, to our varied industry and commerce, and the diverse and talented residents who make it all possible. We live in a region that is teeming with spirit and life.

Accessing all of these many offerings can sometimes be a challenge in itself. While it is nice to take an afternoon drive to soak in the many hidden gems of our community or even stroll down Charlottesville’s Downtown Mall to window-shop or enjoy a fresh cup of coffee, our community is lacking a central place to explore it all.

The Hub CVA’s online Business Directory will offer exactly that.

From one central online location, The Hub’s users now can see which businesses are open or closed, which ones are hiring or expanding, and any other information they may be seeking. Looking for an accountant who specializes in taxes for small businesses? Or an attorney who also has unique insight into a startup’s needs? From a business’s contact information to the owner’s profiles to the discovery of services and products that were thought to be unavailable locally, The Hub’s users can now quickly pinpoint the information they need.

On The Hub, anyone can search the Business Directory by type of business, products and services, industry and technology, and more, including by location, from Charlottesville and its surrounding counties of Albemarle, Greene, Orange, Louisa, Fluvanna, and Nelson, all the way to the counties of Madison, Culpepper, Fauquier and Rappahannock.

Additionally, registered users on The Hub will be able to list their business at no cost.

As a community asset, we’ve rationally designed The Hub to embrace the region’s incredible diversity, lower barriers for newcomers, cultivate inclusion for those limited by place and history, and help startups and established businesses tap incredible talent and creativity.

We cannot wait for you to see what’s in store with The Hub CVA business directory!

The Hub will make its public premiere mid-summer 2021.

CBIC and our community partners will continue to keep you updated on more exciting details about what you can do and find on The Hub and when you will be able to opt-in and get connected!
