The Why of the Gala

CBIC’s one-of-a-kind Annual Awards Gala and fundraiser is an opportunity for us to collectively raise a glass to honor educators who make meaningful impacts in their classrooms and to the collective of startups and businesses that have:
- advanced their ventures
- captured the attention of investors or the media
- hired or retained employees
- grew their client base
- hit their milestones
- or made significant discoveries, many of which improve human lives
I am exceptionally proud of the way our organization has served the ecosystem (since 1997) – particularly in this new environment – notably:
- Launching theHubCVA.org
- Hosting the inaugural CBIC Golf for Tech Tournament
- Pivoting our in-person Gala to a virtual version in 2020
- Delaying the 2021 celebration in favor of hosting CBIC’s one-of-a-kind Annual Awards Gala and fundraiser in-person in a safer environment this 26th of May 2022
Please join me at this special Gala to honor our nominees and award recipients, and to support CBIC. This year will continue to bring unprecedented challenges and opportunities for tech and innovation-based businesses.
